Cornbread is a quick bread made from cornmeal that is associated with Southern United States cuisine and has its origins in Native American cuisine. It is an example of dough bread.

Preparation time: 10 minutes
Baking time: 20-25 minutes
Ingredients:
1 egg
250 ml buttermilk
50 g butter, liquid
120g polenta
150 g flour, smooth
1 teaspoon Baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
2 tbsp sugar
1 teaspoon Magna women's salt
Preparation:
Preheat the grill or oven to 200 degrees.
Mix the egg with the buttermilk and melted butter.
Mix the remaining ingredients in a bowl, work quickly with the liquid to form a dough - (don't stir for too long!)
And put it in the previously greased loaf tin.
Now bake at 200 degrees - turn out and let cool slightly - best enjoy lukewarm with the BBQ.
